Home from work. Feeling sick, irritable, the nine… I feel as though a hot shower, a cup of tea, and a long bit with my Bible will do a girl some good :)

Spirit filled souls are ablaze for God. They love with a love that glows. They serve with a faith that kindles. They serve with a devotion that consumes. They hate sin with fierceness that burns. They rejoice with a joy that radiates. Love is perfected in the fire of God.

This heart and flesh may fail, but my God you never will.

The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

It is within God’s wings that we can find rest: Jesus’ love, hope, peace, comfort… everything we need. If you just go to Him He’s there waiting for you.

God knows every detail of our lives, and when we step out in faith to follow him he will show us that our greatest security is not found in the comforts we can manufacture in this world but in the faithful provision of the only One who knows our needs and the only one who is able to meet our needs in every way! So step out in faith and go to the hard places in the world; live like a Christian, dead to self and alive to God! Don’t let the American culture or the American “church” culture define Christianity for you; let the Bible do that and then give your life to follow that! The Bible I mean… follow that!!!

To have the eyes of Christ means your eyes are set on the eternal goals of the Father, not the hopeless schemes of man. It means sharing in His vision for His people, and having a passion to lead them Home. 

The average CHRISTIAN: spends less than 10 minutes each day with the God of the universe, the truest friend, the savior of the world, the creator of time. That’s less than 6 hours per month. Less than 3 days per year. Less than 7 months in a lifetime. Convicting much?

There is no power in Hell, or any who can stand, before the power of the presence of the Great I Am…..
